My car needed its 70K service, and I didn't want to pay dealership prices or spend 2-3 hours sitting there. So I brought up Google and then Yelp to search for mobile mechanics, and Instant Car Fix was the first mobile service I found. I spent some time conversing with the agent via chat to get a quote and negotiate a bit, as my price wasn't too far off from the dealership. However, they were coming to me, and time is money, and spending 2-3 hours at the dealership isn't a good use of time or money. So I scheduled the service. I was kind of leery about authorizing payment ahead of time; especially since I just had another mobile service do brake work and I paid them onsite after the job was completed. But the mechanic came at the time we discussed and was ready to get started. Unfortunately he spoke very little English and I don't speak any other languages. We were able to make it work but I did make note to speak with the agent I had been chatting with to let her know of the language barrier problem, which I wasn't expecting when I booked it. I still keep going back to the price of the service, especially the labor rate for how little work needed to be done to the car. I will likely use this service again, but I may price it out with other mobile services. All in all, I liked the overall experience, the completeness of the mechanic and how easy it was.

I am so happy with the services I've gotten from Instant Car Fix! I wish I found them sooner! They have changed an ignition switch for me as well as come out to a dealership for a pre - purchase inspection, and even worked with the time I needed and they go above and beyond with their customers! Very good experience!! We were traveling and when our car lost an alternator we were panicking. Acting on a friends tip we reached out and Gaurav and company treated us very nicely and we were all set in 4 hours with work that would have taken 3 times as much time and perhaps twice the money.

Amazing service. I work on my own car but had a cv axel stuck and was done trying to pry it out. I called them and paid ahead of time for service to be done the next day. The mechanic calls and shows up an hour later, which was even better. You can tell he had a lot of experience and tools because he got the axel out in 30 minutes, while it took me 6 hours and a lot of cuss words and got no where. Pricing was average if not cheaper . I feel like VA car and tire would have charged me double and I would have had to drop it off. Great experience, I will use them again if needed.
